The Double Tee Table Collection represents a physical dialogue between MANOS and STRANG. What began as an iterative study between our two teams evolved into a collectible object that feels inevitable.

The Double Tee distills a defining element of mid-century modernism into a singular moment. In Gene Leedy’s work, the double tee was a declaration that structure itself should be beautiful. The table honors that legacy, reducing architecture to its essence: a load is carried, a span is expressed, gravity is acknowledged.

Concrete, often seen only as brutal, is treated here with playful precision. Formed by hand through the casting process, the material reveals its ability to hold subtle imperfection within a disciplined geometry. Curves cast soft shadows across the table’s hard faces. The weight of the material is unmistakable, yet it carries a quiet sense of balance.

Designed in Collaboration With
STRANG Design

Rooted in a modernism shaped by space, light, and place, STRANG’s collaboration with MANOS reflects a shared belief: “In Leedy’s work, the double tee was never cosmetic —it was a declaration that form must arise from purpose, that structure itself could be beautiful, and that clarity was a moral position.”

STRANG is an award-winning architecture and design firm based in Florida, founded by Max Strang. Guided by the principles of environmental modernism, the practice creates work that is both regionally grounded and performance-driven, responding directly to climate, site, and material.

Strang’s early exposure to the Sarasota School– growing up in a Gene Leedy designed home in Winter Haven– continues to inform the firm’s approach, where architecture is shaped by environment as much as intention. Working with materials such as concrete, stone, and wood, STRANG emphasizes a tactile and honest material expression. Spanning private residences and larger-scale developments, the firm’s work is defined by its integration with landscape, careful framing of light and views, and a disciplined relationship between structure and form.
